two recommended companies we were told we should look into are Design council and Ideo as they are very good at what they do which is design.
understanding that different elements of they brief asks of you.
who is they target audience?
what is the design solution that the client is thinking of?
when will the design be needed and for how long?
where will your project be briefed?
why does the client think a design solution is required?
Your not here to make everyone happy and it helps to make it easier for your self.
Primary help give a new perspective that's not out there an informed concept and a range of recourses to draw from

writing scripts can help drive a project.
most importantly break down feed back for the next project to improve and grown as a person.
